Tune In: a free Wavelength-style game to play online
Tune In puts two opposite ideas at the ends of a dial, like Cold and Hot. Somewhere between them is a hidden target that only this round's clue giver can see. They describe it with one clue: near Hot might be 'tea', right at the end might be 'lava'.
Everyone else turns their own needle to where the clue points and locks it in, without seeing anyone else's guess. The closer you are, the more you score, and the clue giver earns the average of the guessers' scores, so a good clue helps everyone. 3-12 players, about 15 minutes.
A free browser alternative for Wavelength fans. Tune In is independent and not affiliated with Wavelength. Create a room, share the code, and your friends join from their phones.
A clue can be a word, a name or an expression; writing numbers counts as cheating.
Everyone locks in their own needle in secret, so nobody just follows the loudest player.
The clue giver role rotates, and the host chooses whether everyone gives clues once or twice.
Being on the same wavelength beats having a big vocabulary.
