Full Gallop: a carnival derby horse race game to play online with friends
You know the horse race at the fair: players sit side by side, roll balls into the holes in front of them, and every hit sends their horse along the track above. Full Gallop puts that game on your phone. There's one shared track where everyone's horse runs, and below it, your own ramp.
In Skill mode you shoot the ball with a slingshot: pull back and let go, and the further you pull, the further it goes. The three big near holes are worth 1 step, the two middle holes 2, the small far hole 3. The wind changes every throw and on Hard the 3 hole slides, so one memorised move won't do. On a computer you play with the mouse.
In Quiz mode you pick a hole and answer the question: 1 is easy, 2 medium, 3 hard. Expect quick-fire sums, color words, capitals and odd-one-outs; a wrong answer locks you out for 1.5 seconds. First horse to the end of the 24-step track wins the race. Create a room, share the link, and 2-12 players join from their phones.
Everyone plays at once: no turns, the track moves live
Skill mode: pull back the slingshot and aim for the 1, 2 and 3 holes
Quiz mode: pick a hole and answer an easy, medium or hard question
Photo finishes, best of 1, 3 or 5 races and prizes at the end

How to play
The goal
Just like the horse race at the fair: everyone gets a horse and a lane.
The track is 24 steps long. First horse over the line wins the race.
If 90 seconds run out, the horse in front wins; on a tie, whoever got there first.
Play 1, 3 or 5 races. Most race wins takes the cup.
Skill mode
Shoot with the slingshot: press on the board with your finger (or the mouse), pull back and let go.
The further you pull back, the further the ball flies. It flies opposite to your pull; the bar on the right shows the power.
The wind changes every throw; the gusts on the board and the arrows next to the slingshot show its side and strength. Aim a little into the wind. Wind can be turned off in the lobby.
Three big near holes are worth 1 step, the two middle holes 2, the small far hole 3. Points count when the ball drops in.
On Hard the holes are narrow, the wind is stronger and the 3 hole slides left and right: where it is when the ball lands is what counts.
Throw before the ball is back and your shot waits in line, then goes as soon as it returns.
Quiz mode
Pick a hole first: 1 brings an easy question, 2 a medium one, 3 a hard one.
A right answer moves your horse as many steps as the hole is worth.
A wrong answer doesn't move you back, but locks you out for 1.5 seconds.
Quick-fire questions: sums, colors, capitals, odd one out. Pick the types in the lobby.
Tips
Everyone plays at once, no waiting for turns. Works in the same room or online.
The 3 hole is tempting but tiny: chasing it when you're not on form slows your horse.
Repeating one memorised move won't cut it: read the wind and adjust your aim.
At the end there are prizes for the most 3s, the best accuracy and the longest streak.
FAQ
How do you play?
Create a room, share the link, choose Full Gallop and pick a mode. When the race starts everyone scores on their own screen: in Skill mode you roll the ball into holes, in Quiz mode you pick a hole and answer the question. Every point moves your horse one step; first to the finish wins the race.
How many players?
Anywhere from 2 to 12. Everyone gets their own horse and lane, no teams needed.
How do I throw the ball on a phone?
Press on the board, pull back like a slingshot and let go. The further you pull, the further it goes, and it flies opposite to your pull. The gusts on the board and the arrows next to the slingshot show that throw's wind, so aim a little into it. The page doesn't scroll while you throw. On a computer, do the same with the mouse.
How long is a race?
Up to 90 seconds. If time runs out, the horse in front wins; on a tie, whoever got there first. A game is 1, 3 or 5 races and whoever wins the most takes the cup.
