Where? A map guessing game to play online with friends
Each round of Where? gives you a place name: a city, a natural wonder or a historic site. Tap the map to drop your pin and confirm it. The closer you are to the real spot, the more you score, and the closest guess of the round gets a +20 bonus.
The world map covers capitals and famous places around the globe; the Turkey map covers provincial capitals, mountains, lakes and ancient cities. You can also mix the two. It works for 2-12 players and a game takes about 8 minutes.
A quick game with friends for anyone who enjoys map guessing games like GeoGuessr. The difference: you get a place name instead of a photo. Where? is independent and not affiliated with GeoGuessr.
Three map options: World, Turkey, or Mixed, which alternates between them.
Everyone guesses at the same time, then you see where every pin landed.
A fun way to test geography knowledge, in class or with family.
The host picks 5, 8 or 10 rounds.

The exact spot
For a city, the target is the city centre itself, not the wider province. If Kayseri comes up, aim for Kayseri city.
For natural places (mountains, lakes, valleys) aim for the middle of the area; for historic sites, the site itself.
Points depend on how far your pin is from that spot.
Scoring
The closer to the right spot, the more points, up to 100.
Türkiye rounds score within a few hundred kilometres, world rounds within a few thousand.
The closest pin of the round gets a +20 bonus.
