You know the telephone game: a sentence is whispered around the room and comes out as something completely different. In Broken Telephone the sentence travels as drawings. Everyone writes a sentence in their own album, like “A cat brewing tea on the balcony”.
Then the albums move around the table: you draw the sentence you get, the next player guesses what your drawing is, the next one draws that guess. You only see the previous entry, and nobody sees their own album until the end.
Finally the albums are revealed one entry at a time, and everyone watches the cat turn into an alien baker. Made for fans of Gartic Phone and Telestrations. Toyla is independent and not affiliated with either. Create a room, share the link, and 3-12 players join from a phone or computer.
Create a room, share the link and pick Broken Telephone. Everyone writes a sentence, then takes turns drawing the sentence they get and guessing the drawing they get. At the end all albums are revealed.
3 to 12. There are as many steps as players (up to 10), so every album goes around the table once.
The host picks 60, 90 or 120 seconds for drawing; writing and guessing take 40 seconds. When everyone is ready the timer is skipped. A 6-player game takes about 15 minutes.
It's the same classic write, draw, guess idea, and in Toyla you can switch to other games in the same room. Toyla is independent and not affiliated with Gartic Phone.
