Who Said It? An online game to see how well you know your friends
In Who Said It? a question appears and everyone writes their own answer at the same time. The answers are revealed in random order without names. You drag each answer onto the player you think wrote it; on a phone, tap the answer, then the player.
A correct match that few others got is worth more. Every player who finds your answer also earns you points, so write something true without giving yourself away too obviously. If an answer is made up or a dead giveaway, the table can call 'Oh, come on!'.
It plays with 3-10 people and takes about 15 minutes. Create a room on Toyla, share the code, and friends join from a phone or computer. Great for old friends, families and teams.
Not a trivia quiz: it tests how well you know each other.
Players who write the same answer both get a bonus point.
The 'Oh, come on!' vote takes points away from answers that give the writer away.
The host picks 3, 5 or 8 questions.
How to play
Goal
How well do you know your friends? Figure out who wrote which answer.
3-10 players, a few questions. Most points wins.
1. Write
A question appears. Everyone writes their own answer at the same time (up to 60 characters).
Write a true answer, but don't give yourself away. Every player who finds you scores you a point too.
2. Match
The answers are revealed in shuffled order, without authors.
Drag each answer onto a player; on mobile, tap the answer first, then the player.
One answer per player. Your own answer is locked.
Scoring
Correct match: number of players who missed that answer +1. Rare correct guesses score more.
Author: +1 for each player who found your answer.
Identical answers count for each other; putting the bubble on either author counts as correct, and both authors get a jinx +1.
Oh, come on!
On the results, if an answer is made up or gives its author away too easily (writing their own name or nickname, or pointing at themselves with "I work out every day"), say "Oh, come on!".
If more than half of the other players say it, the author loses the author points from that answer.
