On Time: an online stop the clock game for friends
Each round of On Time shows a target time, say 9.5 seconds. After a 3-2-1 countdown the clock starts and you press STOP when you think the target has passed. The closer you are, the more you score, and hitting it exactly earns a +50 bonus.
It gets harder as you go: first the clock is visible, then it vanishes after 3 seconds, and finally it never appears and you have to count in your head. It works for 2-12 players and a game takes about 6 minutes.
Create a room on Toyla, share the 6-character code or link, and friends join from a phone or computer. Timing is measured on each player's own screen, so internet lag never costs anyone points.
Three modes: Visible, Fading and Blind. Mixed mode runs through them in that order.
Overshoot the target by 5 seconds and you miss the train: zero points that round.
Works with just two players and scales up to twelve.
The host picks 5, 8 or 12 rounds and the mode.
Short and quick, perfect as a warm-up before a longer game.
