Who types fastest? In Floor It everyone gets the same random words, and every word you type correctly moves your car along the track. Up top there's one shared track with everyone's car; below it, the next words and your typing box. First across the line wins the race, and everyone else still gets a place.
A wrong letter lights up red and your car stays put until you fix it; press space to lock in each word. Words are always lowercase with no sentences or punctuation, so it's pure speed and focus. At the photo finish you see everyone's words per minute (WPM) and accuracy.
In the lobby you pick the number of races (1, 3 or 5), the length (20, 35 or 50 words), how hard the words are and the language (English, Turkish or Spanish). A computer keyboard is best, but phones work too. For anyone who loves TypeRacer-style races and wants a private room for their own group: create a room, share the link, and 2-12 players join.
Create a room, share the link and pick Floor It. During the countdown you can read the words; when the race starts everyone types the same ones. Every correct word moves your car, and finishing the last word takes you over the line. First across wins the race, and whoever wins the most races is champion.
The wrong letter turns red and your car waits until you fix it. Delete the mistake, type the word correctly and press space. Typos don't cost points, they cost time, and your accuracy shows up at the end of each race.
Yes. A computer keyboard is the most comfortable, but phones work too: autocorrect and auto-capitals are off and the typing box stays open for the whole race.
No. Floor It is inspired by the well-known idea behind typing races like TypeRacer, but the rules, word lists and design are Toyla's own. Toyla is independent and not affiliated with TypeRacer, Nitro Type or their owners.
